Some universities have distance courses for MA Sanskrit. Distance education is a good way of forcing yourself to learn, apart from getting the degrees, and this is one that I am definitely going into after a year or two (after reading up the syllabus, that is!). The info was collected a few years back, so please do take these as starting points for your own exploration and not as current!

Karnataka State Open University (KSOU). MA Sanskrit (Reg. II). Eligibility: Any Graduate with Sahitya or Vidvat or Pandit examination of Board of Sanskrit Education, Karnataka. OR a 3-year BA /BSc/BA (Performing Arts) with Sanskrit as a Major/Optional; OR 3-year BA/BSc/BCom/ BMus with Sanskrit as Language Minor (minimum 50% marks).

Nominal fee of Rs.50 by Demand Draft in favour of  Vice-Chancellor, Rashtriya Sanskrit Samsthan, New Delhi, Information from Assistant Director (CC). Audio cassettes, audio mp3 CDs, VCDs. Propose to run an advanced 2-year Sanskrit Prabodha course of 20 lessons.
Introductory Course: 21 Lessons (Basic grammar)
Higher Introductory Course: 20 Lessons.
